one million pixels. one dollar each. once they're gone, they're gone forever.
this is a permanent billboard on solana. a single 1000x1000 canvas that will only ever be filled once. buy a block, drop your image, link it wherever you want. it stays there. no rent, no renewals, no take-backs.
in 2005 a broke student sold a million pixels for a dollar each and made a million dollars. it became one of the most iconic pages the internet ever produced. twenty years later we're doing it again. on-chain, permanent, and a little more degen.
i've been in crypto eight years. i spent three years trading perps, and the honest version is i just kept topping up my account with my own savings, chasing it back, until there was nothing left to add. lost the lot. i swore i was done. then i came back in 2023 to trade solana memes and somehow never left. i've made money and given it all back more times than i'd like to admit. that's the game out here. it's brutal and stupid and i still love it.
but almost nothing you do out here lasts. the charts reset, the coins die, the group chats go quiet. this is my attempt to build one thing that doesn't. a wall that fills up once, freezes forever, and becomes a record of everyone who was here for this era of it. and when it's full, the whole thing gets auctioned for charity. win or lose, it ends by giving something back.
so buy a pixel. leave a mark. this one actually stays.
a 1000x1000 grid. one million pixels, one dollar each, paid in usdc, same price everywhere. buy in blocks (10x10 minimum, because a single pixel is too small to see), upload an image, add a link and a caption. not rented. not leased. it's yours. written to the board, and it does not move, expire, or transfer.
the board can only ever fill up once. when the final pixel sells, it locks. frozen exactly as the crowd built it. at that moment the entire finished canvas gets minted as a single 1/1 nft. one artifact containing every block from every person who bought in.
then that 1/1 goes to auction. one piece, one owner, the complete record of everyone who was here for this. and 100% of the auction proceeds go to charity. not a cut, not "a portion", all of it. the charity gets chosen with the community closer to the auction, and the payout happens on-chain so anyone can verify exactly where it went.
the thing the crowd builds together ends by giving back. you get a permanent piece of crypto history for your dollar, and when it's done the whole board becomes a 1/1 that gets auctioned for charity. every pixel is a brushstroke in that.
one million pixels. $1 per pixel. built on solana.
